This is truly an incredible estate. We honestly feel as though we have been setting up a large antique store for the past three months! There is an amazing array of collections, everything from baseball memorabilia to Native American arrowheads and tools, thousands of LPs and over 1,500 DVDs.

Furniture includes a beautiful library table, buffet, china cabinet, dining room table and six chairs, marble-top table, barrister bookcase, Eastlake cabinet, more than a dozen stands of all shapes and sizes, several rocking chairs including four children’s rocking chairs, two tables with four chairs each, armchairs, bar stools, side tables, rugs, lamps, vintage lawn furniture and much more.

We have over 500 pieces of framed art though out the house and garage. We have several prints by Frederic Remington, Charles M. Russell, Currier & Ives and Wallace Nutting. The collection includes an Andersonville Civil War print circa 1884, Al Hirschfeld print, Ando Hiroshige print, two W.E. Marshall Lincoln engravings, Francis Carpenter engraving “The First Reading of the Emancipation Proclamation” and so many more. We have several items by listed artists, including:

This estate includes an impressive collection of Japanese & Chinese ceramics, a stunning Japanese bronze vase with Kariko figures, Tiffany vase, salt cellar & pen holder, Japanese ‘100 scholars’ vase, Weller Louwelsa pieces, Rookwood (including a vase signed by Artus Van Briggle), Hull, Rosewood, Royal Doulton, an extensive collection of mudmen figurines, German steins, primitive jugs, a pair of Marshall Studios bookends and a Shipibo head vase.

The house is PACKED with local, Illinois and US history. We have a wide array of Danville & Vermillion County items, including many glass bottles, books, Rep. Joe Cannon items and much more. There is an extensive collection of Lincoln portraits, busts and books. We have hundreds of books, primarily non-fiction, including many antiquarian and rare editions.

This is by far the largest collection we’ve ever had of Native American arrowheads and axe heads. We have a clay pipe found in Atlas, IL circa 900 B.C., Civil War bullets, GAR medals & flag, old photos including daguerreotypes & tintypes, stereocards, thousands of postcards, Masonic items and over 500 political buttons featuring local & national candidates. There is also an impressive collection of autographs including Harry Truman, Eleanor Roosevelt, Dick Van Dyke, Jimmy Stewart, Dean Martin, Roy Rogers, Clayton Moore, General Robert E Lee and many more.

We have an extensive baseball collection including cards, many player autographs (Yogi Berra, Reggie Jackson), signed baseballs, gloves & bats, books and much more. Additional items include a huge cast iron collection, British Royal family souvenirs, barware, vintage pennants, vintage toys, Kinsbury racecar, Donald Duck collection, AHM HO model train cars, vintage typewriters, belt buckles, knives, butter churns, vintage coffee grinders, vintage cameras, pipes, dozens of clocks, musical instruments, fishing rods, vintage fishing lures and an amazing Early Whitney Point blanket cloak.

This sale also includes a 50” Philips 4K Ultra HD TV, thousands of LPs, 45’s, CDs, cassette tapes and over 1,500 DVDs, including many boxed sets.
