This is a once in a lifetime sale. After three months of hard work, we are thrilled to announce the dates for the first Jack & Marjorie Richmond estate sale. Jack and Marjorie were noted philanthropists in the Champaign-Urbana community for many years. This will be the first of several estate sales from their estate.
We have a large selection of unique and valuable antiques and collectibles from multiple generations of the Richmond family and many items that came from their travels all over the world. Our sale includes quality furniture, art, oriental rugs, decorative items, vintage kitchenware, mid-century pottery, Native American items, Asian ceramics, University of Illinois memorabilia, crystal, china, books, vintage clothes and accessories, linens and much, much more.
Furniture: Secretary, walnut chest, carved Asian trunks, slant-top desk, four poster bed, Asian desk, Victorian loveseat, George Steck & Co. baby grand piano, folding brass tray coffee table, copper coffee table & stools, Singer treadle table, walnut marble-top dresser, inlaid mother-of-pearl-stand, drop-leaf table, sofa, arm chairs, chests, dressers, vanities, day beds, two double beds, cedar chest, vintage metal filing cabinet, floor lamps, patio set and numerous quality Oriental rugs.
We have a wide variety of art including many original pieces. We have an Alfred Montgomery painting, William Marshall engraving of Abraham Lincoln, Nutting print, two large tapestries and several antique chromolithographs.
At this sale we also have an amazing Japanese brain glaze vase and some stunning Famille Rose pieces including two large Buddhas and a set of stacking bowls. Mid-century pottery includes DeGrazia, Hjorth, Bitossi, Russel Wright, Southern Harvest by Albert of Georgia and more.
There is a large collection of brass, copper and bronze décor including a J. Van Range copper pot, beautiful large Turkish antique copper tea kettle and antique solid bronze lamp.
Additional items of note include a Bradley & Hubbard lamp, set of Wedgewood Yale plates, Native American items, Franz Hermele clock, German wall clock, a wide selection of books including some early books on Champaign County history, Armed Services Edition book collection, Eagle Scout tableau, vintage kitchenware, vintage Vita-Mix blender, Royal Doulton & H+C china, primitives, linens, vintage Bakelite Airline radio and Dell Inspirion computer, three Samsung flat-screen TVs, vintage NordicTrack and Schwinn exercise bike.
We have several items of University of Illinois memorabilia including sports memorabilia and clothes.
There are hundreds of vintage ties and vintage and new purses. We have several vintage furs and Asian robes and a small collection of remarkable vintage dresses.

No early sales. All items are priced as marked. We do not negotiate on prices. We accept bids on items that are priced $100 or more. The bid must be at least 60% of the original price and bids are finalized 30 minutes before the half-price sale begins. We accept cash, checks and credit cards (for purchases over $10). Please bring help to load large items. Not responsible for accidents.
