This is a wonderful sale filled with mid-century modern furniture and art and artifacts from all over the world. Dr. Sinclair was a University of Illinois professor who traveled extensively and added to his collection wherever he traveled. A sophisticated collector, many items from Dr. Sinclair’s collection have already been donated to Spurlock and Krannert Art Museum.

This sale includes a 2017 Chevy Cruze LS with just 3,100 miles.

We have a fabulous mid-century wall unit, pair of Ekornes chairs, Broyhill mid-century bedroom set including king-size bed frame, chest & dresser, mid century slat bench, curved glass cabinet, screen, double bed, glass & wood side tables, handmade wooden chests, oak washstand, Bassett mid-century chest, leather sofa & loveseat, table with four chairs, desk, smoking stand, bookcase, side tables, coffee table, lift chair, metal cabinets, unusual wood lamps, entertainment center and more. We also have a nice selection of rugs including a genuine Turkish silk Hereke, Kashmiri wool & silk rug, Persian Shriaz rug, Turkish Milas rug and Persian Isfahan rug.

There is a large collection of glass work by John Miller, a large glass statue by Paul Nelson, “Rice Harvesting” by Pote Sangawongse, amazing folk art pieces, including “Explosion” by New Orleans artist Harry Greenburger, Warner Brothers & Turner animation cells, including signed pieces by Chuck Jones, works by Itzchak Torkay, Anatole Krasnyansky, Marcel Anselme, Yoshitaki, Kuruma Kadomatsu, Arashizuikan, Corrine Smith and Natalie Davis.

Additional items include carved wood & stone pieces, cloissonne, Russian nesting dolls & lacquerware, rock collection, inlaid boxes, ceramics, Stackables white dinnerware, Mikasa dinnerware, glassware, Bose radio & CD player, Sharp flat-screen TV, Dell computer, electronics, CDs, books, including several copies of Sinclair’s own books “My Name is James” and “The Poetry of James,” men’s clothing, jewelry, Schwinn exercise bike, outdoor sculptures & planters.
